Izabela Pluta was born in Warsaw, Poland, and migrated to Australia in 1987. She did her undergraduate studies in Fine Art at The University of Newcastle and has an MFA from The College of Fine Art, The University of New South Wales in Sydney. Izabela works in photomedia and installation and has exhibited widely in Australia. She is currently a PhD candidate in the Faculty of Creative Arts, The University of Wollongong. Izabela is represented by Dianne Tanzer Gallery + Projects, Melbourne and Galerie Pompom, Sydney.
